Riverboard @ Boardom Bound

Riverboarding is similar to boogie boarding in the ocean. You lay on a board, wear a helmet, some fins, and a life vest, then head down the river. You can surf whitewater waves, or you can pick a line and ride through the river's rapids. It is called “sledging” in New Zealand but is not the same as riverboarding with a bungee and an anchor. You simply jump into Class II-V rapids and experience the river face first at rapid level. You have an enormous amount of control and riverboarding does have an easy learning curve with a huge adrenaline factor.
We will be offering lessons this spring through individual and group instruction. We have been working closely with Ripboard and RMR, two leading manufacturer of riverboards in the US, based here in Colorado. They have helped set us up in teaching you this exciting, growing sport, and we will be riding their riverboards.
Riverboarding costs a fraction of a kayak and all its gear. Why wait? Give us a call and we’ll get you started with lessons. If you want to make riverboading a new sport of yours, we can also help set you up with the gear.
